X Zone Lures - Three new baits available - April 27, 2012
We now stock three X Zone Lure baits: 4" Slammer, 4" Swammer and Wacky Leach. The original Slammer....the bait that changed the way we fish! These baits helped skyrocket the popularity of the drop-shot rig and have quickly become a staple in all serious fisherman's tackle boxes!
The success of the original tournament proven "Slammer" gave X Zone Lures a form factor and texture to work with. They wanted a bait that could be used at various speeds using different techniques from a slow swim cast to a medium or high speed stroll or troll. A year of testing and tweaking on lakes all over the north east and mid west and they found the results were incredible. They have achieved their goal!
The Wacky Leech was designed to fill a gap in the finesse group of baits. More natural eatable action than most popular stick baits and more robust than typical leech imitations. It can be hooked several ways for variable techniques

The Stupid Tube is a custom tube and a custom jig head that are designed to work together as a system; both are needed to create a rigged bait known as the Stupid Tube.
The Stupid Tube Jig head is a vital component of the Stupid Tube rig. We have them in sizes 1/8oz and 3/16 oz with your choice of 3/0 or 4/0 Gamakatsu hooks. The Stupid Tube jig can be rigged exposed or Texas style for a weedless application.
The new Swimbait jig head shows Secret Lure's attention to detail for the very discriminating angler. It comes in sizes 1/8 oz and 3/16 oz. It features a heavy gauge Mustad hook and a 2-wire weed guard. The Weedless swimbait head can be used on Alabama or Umbrella rigs.

Use the Cabin Creek Finese Crappie Rig for casting, vertical jigging, or floating with a bobber. Just add lures and it's ready to go. These rigs allow for fishing through heavy cover when rigged weedless. It's weightless so depending on what baits are used and how they are rigged it can be used in extremely shallow water without having to run the baits extremely fast. Just add weight at the top of the line to present the baits in deeper water.
