The white river is one of my favorite fishing place of all time. River is best fished in the evenings or the early morning using corn or powerbait. For those of you who are flyfisherman sow bugs and scuds work well in riffels and runs but for deeper pools use a large wooly bugger patern. There are several resorts located right on the river and the and by far the best is Gastons river lodge. It has a great restraunt and guids rund daily. trout in the two to five pound range are very common and ones exceeding seven are not uncommon. I have been fishing this river since before I was walking and i have never had a bad day. For beginers i recomend a light action spinning rod with two or four pound line. well i hope to see you on the water.
