Granny reared back to set the hook so hard lizard came flying out of water hooking Dad in the eye brow. Pandomonium broke out Granny had hooked her baby, Dad was an only child, might explain why he had five of us.Granny was to freaked to drive boat, Dad could not see to drive, leaving the driving to 9 year old me, first time not in dads lap. I of course wanted to gas it, after all it was an emergency,Granny was having none of that,her baby might lose an eye.Any way after a long slow trip to the dock, it was off to the er, after a short wait Doc walks in looks at Granny says I believe you have a record catch here, Granny breaks down swearing she did not do it on purpose, Doc winks at Dad saying he will try and save the eye but it might be difficult to do so.Granny is so beside her self Doc relents clips the hook behind the barb backs it out and presents granny with hook pieces and still kicking spring lizard and suggests she keep the lizards in the water.
