All over the Island known as Mike, i am the owner of Mike's Marina fishing Charters, running offshore Deep Sea Fishing Charters on the East Coast of the Dominican Republic, out of Punta Cana. Operating fleet includes Searay 40ft, Post 42ft and my Baby 42ft Bertram named Shekinah. Favored by all around the year mostly constant Sea Surface temps we can target Billfish during most months of the year, starting with white Marlin in April, Blue Marlin join them starting in July and Sailfish together with big schools of Dorados and always present Wahoo for Wintertime. Til the End of the 2006 season our fishing will be all about fast trolling offshore for Big Game, for the 2007 seasons offshore Flyfishing and Shark fishing will be added to my offered services. My main goal will be always to give the best service to my Fishing Customers, which of course includes free pick up from all hotels on the dominican east coast, charter boats prepared for deep sea fishing and not cruising as an tourist excursion, professional english spoken crews and always up to date professional fishing gear. Starting again mid November 2006 all full day charters will be run by myself, on board service includes that we are 3 experienced skippers on board, not to mention a early morning welcome breakfast and lunch on board. Running and permanently growing up this business since the early '90's you'll not find somebody more seriously doing his job on the Blue Water Fishing like we do. Beside several so called "outfitters" which are talking about catch & release, we are the one who brought it to the Island and til today we are the only one DOING it, on all Billfish, at least til the day i land the first Blue Marlin 1000+ er Grander, the first goes in for the books, and only the first one.
