I started fishing back in 1971, probably a late start, but I was fishing! Growing up in southern Maine, I had access to many small stream with native brook trout and "sucker" fish. But lake fishing was what got me really into fishing.

Sunfish, smallmouth bass, and pickerel were my favorites! Line yanking fish always seemed to excite me. And to this day they still do.

Relocating to central Arkansas(Cabot), has changed my fishing quite a bit. Muddy water and my fear of snakes puts me out. Big cat fish are my targets now, and tail waters of the hydroelectric dams are my main hang outs. Heavy line and big poles are a must! But I can be found on the many Wildlife Management fisheries on the weekends with my children looking for smaller fish to keep hem excited about the past time I has come to love.
