Fishing Information

I grew up fishing the Old Miss in Iowa, Dubuque, to be exact. The memories of the varied species caught and the good times have stayed with me. I've lived and fished in Colorado , Washington, California, and Alaska. One of my favorite fishing days was on Willow Creek,north of Wasilla, in Alaska. That day, using a split shot and roe, I caught and released 28 king salmon between 35 and 65 lbs. A real dream fishing day.

Personal Background

I am divorced, father of 3, and a teacher, Thus I get all summer to chase my favorite fish. Started fishing at 3 yrs. old as did my son, who is my best fishing partner. He was able to enjoy the unreal fishing in Alaska when only 7-9 yrs. My main problem now, living in California, is finding areas that are not overrun with people or fished out
