Well, let me start off by saying that Norris is a first class lake for striper fishermen. We visited Norris this past week (My first time). Had an absolutly wonderful time. Caught our limit everyday with some decent fish. Smallest about 3 lbs. and biggest was 12-13 lbs. We lost and also threw back some fish not over the 24" limit. We stayed at the Hickory Star. These guys and gals are A+ and I would recommed them to anyone wanting a courteous staff with wonderful accomodations. Some of the staff are also striper guides who are very helpful in assisting you in honing your skills. Oh, and according to the staff, 12-13 lb. stripers on Norris are small fish. They were actually shocked that we didn't catch any in the 20 or so lb. range. I can only imagine. You can bet, I will be back to Norris and will stay with the Hickory Star. Anyone wanting to go, you will not be disappointed.
