I love this lake. Walleye/Saugeye are in abundance here and you don't even need a boat to find them. I catch many nice ones right off the bank. I just caught a pair of 4 and a half pounders at the mouth of the marina on 3 May, 2014. Lots of nice smallmouth and largemouth as well. White bass too. If you are looking for crappie, the fishing is okay, but it is much better a few miles up I-44 at Lake Ellsworth.
