Pike Baked In Cream

Ingredients
  • 1 lb pike fillet
  • 3 tb butter
  • 1 sm diced onion
  • 1/2 diced green pepper
  • 1 diced celery stalk
  • 1/2 c tomato (peeled
  • seeded & chopped)
  • 1 1/2 c heavy cream
  • 1 c grated swiss cheese
  • 1/2 c bread crumbs
  • 1/2 ts salt
Directions
Heat oven to 350. Wash & dry fish. Place in greased casserole. Heat butter in pan. Add onion, pepper & celery; saute until tender. Add tomato & simmer until liquid has evaporated. Spoon over fish. Add cream & sprinkle with cheese & crumbs. Bake 30 minutes.

your recipe would benefit from an extra 3 lb. of butter and freshly rendered isaak walton drippings /also, we reccomend hanging the specimen in the sun like the romans did. youll never bake a carp for thanksgiving again. the art of fyssshhhhing wyyyyyyth an angle.
