She is a regular fly tyer, casting clinic, and slide show presenter at the Great Alaska Sportsman’s Show and the Alaska Women’s Show. She is also a fly tyer and presenter on fly fishing for women at outdoor shows, fly shops, and fly fishing clubs around the country.

Pudge is also a fly fishing author for the print media and for numerous sites on the World Wide Web. She has recently been named a contributing editor by Fish Alaska Magazine. The Women’s Flyfishing® web site is recognized as the Internet’s leading resource for women who fly fish.

In addition to being a fly fishing professional, Pudge is an attorney and holds a masters degree in social work. She is retired from the faculty of the University of Alaska and maintains active training and consulting practices during the winter months.

Pudge has been featured in the Anchorage Daily News and on the local affiliates of all three national t.v. broadcasters. She is also one of the Special Explorers on the PBS television series, Alaska Magazine Television. She is a member of the Worldwide Outfitter and Guides Association, The Alaska Fly Fishers, the Northwest Women Flyfishers, Trout Unlimited, The Federation of Fly Fishers and The Anchorage Convention & Visitors Bureau. She serves on the Board of Directors for the International Women Fly Fishers and is a member of the pro staff of Ross Reels, Mustad ® Hooks, and Patagonia®.
