It was the openning of bass season(09) and my wife and I were on our way to a tournament about 100 miles away.Twenty minutes into the trip my wife let out an ahhhhhhhhh...Right in front of us was a moose which I only saw at the last moment because of the on coming headlights from the transport approaching us. I pulled to the right to avoid the beast. I don't know what it was but some type of matter was flying towards us. As we passed I looked in my side mirror to see the moose get up from a kneeling position and walk off the highway. Thats as close as I ever want to get to another moose...We ended up finnishing 7th on a river we had never been on before.
