I learned to fish at about 16 years old. I got a wild hair in me one evening and made an off hand comment to good buddy of mine that I want to fish. He being an expert in everything said " I love to fish. I can teach you". I said great lets go. I started out on a $10 shimano spinning reel. we threw rooster tails and caught the heck out of tiny bass. That was all it took. Here I am many. many moons later still fishing. My buddy did move away. But we still travel to each others houses and fish as much as possible.
