Fishing InformationMy fishing days started when I was around 12 years old. My dad would take me out early in the morning to catch the 1/2 day boat out of Dana Point. I remember back then that the Bonito where around 10 to 20 pounds on a normal day with boils every where. The day I was hooked was our second trip, when I was leaning over the rail with my new spinning rod and real, I had worked all summer for. As I was leaning over the rail with a fresh dino, I spotted a nice yellow tail swimming up the starboard side of the boat. As I watched my bait enter the water, the yellow tail, to my surprise came right up and sucked down my dino. I set the hook and the race was on. That yellow took off like a bat out of hell. It took me about 30 minutes to land that yellow, but it’s now been 28 years of fishing since. "I fish therefore I am" is a saying that fits well. I enjoy all types of fishing, but these days spend most of my free time chasing Large Mouth bass. I also do some Sierras Trout fishing when I get a chance. Personal BackgroundMy Fishing Favorites
