Never Give Up! My partner and I had everything go wrong for us on Alan Henry lake, a lake known for big bass. With the big motor out, we were fishing by trolling motor back to the weigh-in site and had only three small fish in the livewell. With the trolling motor on high we were "speed flipping" anything we could reach when I spotted an eyeball looking out from under a branch. One flip of a Zoom Toad and we had an 8 pounder in the boat. With only a couple of minutes left, we approached the off-limts boundary and made a last desperation spinnerbait cast to a point and another 8 pounder joined the livewell. It is true it just takes one or two bites to turn things around so never give up.
