Fishing Information

On a DET with my squadron to Bridgeport CA. 4 Marines and me got dropped off 3 miles up river and walked down for 12 hrs. We caught enough trout that day to include 3 other days to feed around 100 Marines 10-16 inch native trout. What a great experience to see and share such beautiful streams and fly fishing.

Personal Background

I’m a U.S. Marine from Asheville N.C. I have been fishing under the tutelage of my father for fresh and my grandpa B. for salt since I could stand. I'm a fly guy by trade but since moving to Jacksonville N.C. I’m hitting the salt as hard as I can.

Boat Information

Boat name: Magui
An early 70's Crosby Sled w/ 18hp Evinrude and trolling motor. Small but effective when after Reds.
