The first part of my life I resided on Cape Cod and I have many memories of fishing the North Atlantic. Sixteen years ago, I relocated to South Carolina. I live approximately two hours from the Atlantic coast. One day I was at a friend’s house on Lake Murrary, and group of us began fishing for largemouth bass in this cove. It was one of those memorable afternoons, which changed my ideals about fishing. That week I purchased a freshwater setup, and for several following weekends I tried to duplicate the success from that outing. Nothing! To understand my new surroundings, I went to a local library and found several instructional freshwater fishing videos featuring Doug Hennon. It was then that I began to treat my fishing like my career, knowledge is the most powerful tool that I can use. Products, techniques and resources change rapidly in today’s world. I use media like LBF.com, Bass Masters & SC Sportsman magazine and various programs featuring legends like Hank, Jimmy and countless others to keep my love of fishing fun and inciteful. Today, I am still learning everytime I fish, but the rewards have multiplied dramatically. I support catch, picture and release (CPR), and consider myself a conceincous fisherman in regards to protecting the habitat. I urge all to do the same while enjoying one of our nations great outdoor sports.
