Fishing InformationFavorable fishing story... The first big fish caught out of the Lake we live on was a 5.7 lb largemouth bass. One after noon, my wife and I had walked down to the lake after work and decided to drown a few nightcrawlers. As the sun started to go down and we decided to call it a day. My wife, who's idea of fishing is to throw the line out and forget it unless something trys to pull the pole in the water, picked up her Reel-n-Rod to reel in in for the night and it was very tight. She thought she had snagged a tree limb. The harder she reeled, the more resistance she got. All of a sudden, this big bass jumped out of the water. Her first instinct was panick, so she yelled to me for help. As I got to her, she yelled at me to get away...she wanted to land it...and she did. The kicker, the next day, I placed it in a cooler and took it to work and told everyone I caught it. We still laugh about it because we are always trying to out do each other (in a fun way). It might be who caught the biggest fish, the most fish, or the smallest fish. Sadly to say, I hold that dubius honor (the smallest catch). It still fun though.
