My best fishing story so far was my trip to the east arm of Great Slave. We were in 10ft or so of water and got a hit on one rod as we were trolling ciscoes. Bringing in the one fish up to the boat, we saw two other fish swarming around it trying to eat it! These were all lake trout. The one on the line was a 10Lb fish and the ones trying to make a snack out of it were much larger! It looked like something on the discovery channel about sharks! It was so exciting seeing these huge fish right at the side of the boat trying to eat what we had caught. We got the one in and the others went away after we unsuccessfully tried to catch them too. What fun!
