Fishing InformationThe strangest thing that ever happened to me during a fishing trip was the time I was fishing for Specs and Reds in the Bessie Heights Marsh along the Texas Coast. While fishing, I watched a storm blowing up Sabine Lake and heading toward the marsh where I was fishing a perfict incoming tide. As the storm came closer, I watched a Water Spout form and I immediately headed for some shoreline cover. The water spout tore up mud, grass and water along a path that would have been right through the spot I was fishing..close call for sure. After the storm passed, I returned to the grassy clumps where I was fishing, and to my surprise, the water spout had picked up some of the bigest fish I had ever seen and deposited them all through the grassy area. I was able to get hundreds of them back into the water and picked up a few that were already dead...Some new fishing tactic for sure...Didn't see that one covered in the State game book!! Personal BackgroundBoat Information18' Center Console with 90HP Mercury Outboard. Good all around boat for fishing and family sporting. It's made to take some rough water and with the high thrust trolling moter, Hummingbird depth finder and live-well, it is the perfect fishing boat. My Fishing Favorites
