Company Description

"Looking for a really fantastic fishing or hunting trip? Ontario's finest? You've come to the right place! We have some of the best Canada fishing and hunting you'll experience.

Over 90% of our guests return year after year, and have for over two decades!

It's not uncommon to catch 50, even 100 walleye in one day, a northern pike in the 40"+ range, or a trophy lake trout above 20#'s. Three lake trout over 40#s caught and released in 2003!

Lake Savant is 25 miles long, boasts 409 miles of shoreline, depths to 200 feet, hundreds of islands, and covers more than 89,000 acres. It's very limited access provides you an excellent gene pool to catch your trophy!

Our moose hunting success rates are nearly 100%, whether on Lake Savant, or the Albany and Misehkow River tent camps.

Enjoy our well-maintained resort with comfortable boats, new 2003 electric-start 4-stroke 15hp Honda motors, well-equipped clean cabins, and personalized customer service only at Wildewood Fly-In Outposts on Lake Savant in Ontario Canada's Northwest.

Check it all out for yourself on our extensive website where you'll find weekly fishing reports, guest photo scrapbook, testimonials, downloadable pdf brochure, MNR regulations, rates, and so much more! Our web site is detailed, not hype, valuable information and easy to navigate. We hope you agree.

Looking for a great fishing getaway? Wildewood has it all! Excellent numbers of Walleye, Big Northerns and Lakers. Best boats on Savant. The 15 hp Hondas push the extra wide 16 ft boats upwards of 18 mph. The camp is clean and Rich and Jeanie are the best in the buisness!
