The separate Carriage House suite contains two guestrooms and a complete kitchen & living area.
In the large Gathering Room of the farmhouse a stone fireplace contains a roaring log fire on cold evenings. On the wrap-around porch, rocking chairs and a Jacuzzi are available to help you unwind from the rigors of the workweek. In the morning a delicious and bountiful three-course breakfast is served in the dining room or, weather permitting, on the porch.
As the seasons change, picture yourself strolling paths through spring-flowering dogwood and redbud trees, through fields of summer wildflowers, the multicolored leaves of autumn, or enjoying the simple beauty of snow-covered limbs on the walnut trees beside the farmhouse.
The Farmhouse on Tomahawk Run was built by the Innkeeper's great-grandfather during the Civil War on land occupied by her ancestors since the early 1740's.
