Barefoot Beach Resort located on beautiful Lake Huron and sits on 200 feet of sugar sand beach. We are located 4 miles north of Oscoda Michigan.
Our eight cottages are warmly decorated and all independently set and all have a beautiful view of the beach and lake.
Each cottage has a fully equipped kitchen and cable TV. We have 7 cottages with two bedrooms and one with one bedroom.
In July and August the cottages are rented only by the week with check-in at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday and check-out by 11:00 a.m. on the following Saturday.
Barefoot Beach Resort features year round fun and excitement. We cater to all hobbies whether it is fishing, hunting, golfing, canoeing, hiking/biking, x-Country skiing or snowmobiling.
BAREFOOT BEACH RESORT COTTAGES
All of our cottages feature knotty pine interior, are nicely furnished and decorated. While you fine all of our cottage quire roomy, cottages 2, 3 & 4 are the smallest of the group. Cottages 1, 5, 6, 7 & 8 are larger.
Cottage #1 - The Freedom
Uncle Sam will greet you into the Freedom Cottage. This two bedroom cottage is decorated in a patriotic theme. One of the bedrooms has two single beds and the other has a double bed. The living room has a futon couch, which sleeps two. This cottage has a beautiful lake view and is only footsteps away from our sugar sand beach.
Cottage #2 - Moose Lodge
The Moose Lodge speaks for itself. With a smiling moose greeting you at the door the accessories inside says the rest. This is a smaller two bedroom cottage that has double beds in each room. Newly remodeled with new flooring and kitchen cabinets make this cottage very warm and inviting. This cottage is just steps away from the beach.
Cottage #3 - The Birds Nest
Just right for one or two couples is what the Bird Nest is all about. This is a small two bedroom cottage right on the water front and decorated with a bird house theme. This cottage has wicker furniture in the living room and double beds in each bedroom.
Cottage #4 - Aquarium
A touch of the tropics is the Aquarium. This cottage faces Lake Huron and has a very cuddly and warm feeling. Each bedroom has a double bed and would sleep four people comfortably.
Cottage #5 - Sportsmen's Club
Calling all Sports enthusiast to the Sportsmen's Club. You will feel right at home in this large two bedroom cottage that will sleep up to seven people with the sleeper sofa and single roll away bed. Each bedroom has a double bed. This cottage will put you in the mood with camouflage curtains and chairs, fishnets for window coverings and general decor to give you that Sportmen atmosphere.
Cottage #6 - Boat House
The mariner decor while you are sitting on the couch and looking out over the lake will make you think you are in a boat house. This is a large two bedrrom cottage with double beds. There is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. The kitchen and living are larger making this a nice cottage for six guest.
Cottage #7 - Light House
Keeper of the lights is the lighthouse. This is our largest cottage. It has two bedrooms, one with a queen bed, and the other with a bunk bed and a full size bed. This cottage also has a single roll-away bed. The larger living room and kitchen makes this cottage a nice size for a larger family.
Cottage #8 - Love Shack
This is our only one bedroom cottage. The future plans for this is to have a hot tub installed and feature this for a romantic couple getaway, or honeymoon. Even without the hot tub, this is a roomy one bedroom with a gas fireplace and a full size sleeper sofa in the living room. This cottage has a nice deck with a great view of the lake. The bath has a tub with a shower.
