Great fishing for Large and Small mouth Bass, Pike, Crappie and *Lake Trout(*Dog Lake)
Melody Lodge & Marina is located on Cranberry Lake, which is part of the Rideau Canal Waterway.
At Melody you will find cottages, seasonal and transient trailer sites with full service, campsites, seasonal and transient dockage, boat and motor rentals, concrete launching ramp, gas, diesel, pump-out and a mini-store where you will find our well renowned ice cream! Of course, fishing is excellent on both Cranberry and Dog Lake!
The cottages, 13 units total. One of them is only a bedroom which serves mostly as an overnight accomodation.
All the others have a kitchen and a bathroom with a shower.4 units can sleep from 2 to 4 persons in one large bedroom.
6 units, with their two bedrooms,accomodate from 4 to 6 persons.2 units with 3 bedrooms can sleep from 6 to 8 persons, and 1 unit with 4 bedrooms accomodates from 8 to 10 persons.
At marker 222 on the Rideau, you can see the Marina, just short of a mile south-west of the canal on Cranberry Lake. Protected from strong winds, we offer you transient docking spaces in a quiet setting under mature trees.
We have a concrete boat launch ramp and parking for trailers. Beside gas, diesel, pump-out, electricity, gas-grills, water and ice, we have a little store to accommodate you and we invite you to try our delicious ice-cream!
