I've fished blackwater river many times and i have been very pleased. my biggest catch is is a 16lb. srtiped bass. ive also caught a 8lb. largemouth and a few 4-5 pounders. this is a great spot and i hope the bass keep getting bigger. the most effective lures are: topwater poppers, diving minnows, any medium size spinnerbait, or nightcrawlers.
