I have fished this lake for a long time and as under presure as it is, it still produces many fish, big fish. Most people there will be trout fishing, (especially right after they stock it, "elbow to elbow",) but for one of your smaller lakes in South Jersey it produces monsters. From the begining of March until the end of May, you will catch bass almost every time you throw your line in. From June until Aug. it is still highly productive, but you have to work it more, find the cover, over hanging trees, lily pads, and weed beds. From Sept. to Nov. the fall turnover brings a feeding frenzy that you will not beleive. Alot of different lures work as well as different techniques, but if your in a boat, master your pitching, because the less sound your lure makes hitting the water, the better your chances are of pulling up that catch of a lifetime!

I was here on Sat. March 5th and I had a couple of bites but I did'nt land any. They were biting on trout colored senkos. I also heard that they will be draining and cleaning the lake early May. I don't know if they are going to stock it with trout in April.
