Mercer can be excellent fishing if you know the boating lanes, don't run aground or hit a stump. Largest bass I ever caught came out of Mercer (8.6). Also a great spot for duck hunting. On Arkansas Game and Fishing Land. They have spent alot of money on the ramp and parking. LOCK EVERYTHING UP, VERY SECLUDED.
