I fish here often because of its close proximity, but the largemouth are pretty small. I do consistently catch bass, but the average size is about one lb. The spillway on the southwestern tip of the lake is decent in early spring before the lake is choked with weeds.

lived on like my entire life. i think no one knows how to catch large fish. always reports of all small bass. i average 8 to 10 5+ lb largemouth a summer,(only there on weekends) and pickerel are growing, 2 over 16" this year and larger one was 22" pickerel love the rubber worms and a good jitterbug at dusk will get those 5+ pound bass jumping out of the water like a great white.
