It sure is small, even though im only 13 i am an expert in the frederick and thurmont areas. Big Hunting creek has great fishing, but the fish are very smart and some of them also move out of Catoctin mountain state Park. so what i do is go to the DNR page each night to see if they have staocked it yet. Hope to see you there, and a nymph behind a size 8 pink streamer generally fools the rainbows in winter, good fishin'!
