Lake Shelbyville IL. is a tough lake to learn, but it has one good thing about it. Most of the time the fish can be caught shallow that means 1 to 15 ft. If you are new to the lake just fish points with a c-rig or jig. Colors should be greenpunkin and watermelon c-rig and black and blue and greenpunkin with orange neck also crankbaits deepdivers chartuse and firetiger. Good Luck Dean
