Rockwood & Greenville areas SUPER year round! You may want to put a day or more in Jackman too!Bait of choice 1- SMELTS-2-Shiners/lures flashkings (silver or copper ), red & white daredevils/streamers Smelt imations. Good food & service everywhere. Fish where TED Roosevelt did Moosehead!

Very big lake, people don't really talk about it but there are some huge bass if you fish around the islands by the state park on the east side of the lake. Crank bait seems to work the best!
