The Dupuis Wildlife Area is a great place to fish in south Florida, without a boat. Not only for fishing, but for horseback riding, hiking, camping, and just about any nature based activity you want. It is closed when a hunt is on. Any other time, it is a wonderful way to see the real FLorida. Oh, and No firearms (except during hunts) or alcoholic beverages at anytime.
