Fishing the Coquille River during the week of August 26-30 was slow but exciting. The fish that we caught were slabs. Fishing with my brother (a new local) and his expert knowledge of the river, we caught three beautiful fish. A 36 lb, 39 lb buck caught by my son, and a whopping 46 lb buck caught by my 10 year old daughter.
