Our famous Steelhead fishing season runs from September through April, so do not hesitate and contact us now. As an addition we also have incredible smallmouth bass fishing and trout fishing during spring and summer months. It is not unusual to catch dozens of bass in a day.
The Lochsa and Selway Rivers flow from the Selway-Bitterroot wilderness west to combine and create the famed Clearwater River know for its enormous fish and their willingness to bite. Our season is probably the longest steelhead season in North America. We have a huge run of fish averaging 12 to 16 lbs. These fish are gigantic when compared to other Northwest Steelhead rivers. Magnum Outfitters fish out of Cadillac drift boats for our customers comfort (two customers per boat).
Our extremely competent guides know and use multiple techniques to catch the "big boys". We offer various techniques for catching fish and are willing to use whatever techniques that will help you catch the most fish. The Orofino Creek Lodge will comfortably sleep you and five of your good friends. There are 3 rooms with 2 beds per room, and 3 bathrooms. A kitchen is provided so you can prepare your meals. There is plenty of room outside for you to relax and take in the beautiful surroundings. We can also arrange lodging in one of the local hotels or bed and breakfasts'.
