Company Description

Come experience the thrill and beauty of Hells Canyon with Snake River Adventures. Whether you're white water rafting, jet boating, hunting or fishing, we'll take you there.

Guided Fishing and Chukar Hunting

You will go to the HOTTEST spots with some of the best guides in the industry. We keep our hunting and fishing trips small to ensure quality.

Catch Sturgeon, bass, trout and steelhead. We do fish the Snake and Salmon Rivers. Bass and sturgeon bite the best in the spring, summer and early fall, while trout fishing is good yearlong. Steelhead fishing starts in the fall and extends through the spring. You must have an Idaho or Oregon fishing license; a steelhead permit is required for that species.

We supply fishing tackle and poles, but you are welcome to bring your own.

Snake River Adventures provides a variety of trips for your family, friends or business retreats. One day or multiple day fishing charters are available on 3 rivers. Our custom built jet boats can be fully enclosed for inclement weather, with heaters.

Sturgeon, Bass and Trout

Fish for the mighty sturgeon, small mouth bass and rain bow trout. The white sturgeon often reaches lengths of 10 feet and after an hour of reeling you start to wonder who has who! While your guide keeps an eye on the sturgeon rod, you can pass the time by catching trout and bass. Bass average around a pound and a half and rainbow often reach the 20-inch mark. Snake River Adventures uses G-Loomis and custom Lamiglass rods for sturgeon. We also provide light tackle for bass and trout fishing. Lodging will be provided by Kirby Creek Lodge.

What beautiful unspoiled sites await you in Hells Canyon! From the Snake River to the sculptured mountain peaks. Hells Canyon offers gorgeous scenery, rare flora and fauna, and opportunities for jet boat tours, whitewater rafting, fishing, hunting, hiking and camping. Imagine fishing in a sparkling mountain lake or resting on a rocky outcrop to view the sweeping vistas and the wildlife, where peace and quiet abound.

Mother Nature has certainly left her mark on the landscape in Hells Canyon. Geologists tell us that eons of uplifting, combined with water erosion, make present-day Hells Canyon the deepest and most rugged canyon in North America. Humans have inhabited the Canyon for hundreds of years and the handiwork of these aboriginal people is readily evident, with over 100 known sites of rock art.

Hells Canyon Jet Boat Tours offer a birdwatcher's heaven with songbirds and birds of prey of every description. Fishing in the river or in one of the mountain lakes is exhilarating. Hunting or taking pictures of the abundant wildlife found in Hells Canyon is a rare experience that visitors to Hells Canyon can brag about to friends and relatives for a lifetime. If lucky enough to draw a permit, hunters can bag a trophy elk, mountain goat or bighorn sheep in the benches, draws and mountains in and around Hells Canyon. Hunting for bear, cougar, mule deer and the popular chukar partridge is an opportunity every hunter should experience.

Hells Canyon and its rugged steep topography offer wildflowers, trees and bushes which are beautiful any season of the year. Early spring offers beautiful wildflowers of every color and description on upland benches. Summertime colors are showy yellows and whites. And fall colors are spectacular; with the deep reds and yellows reflected in the River.
