Company Description

Better known, as the "Jewel of the Blue Ridge" located in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Her cool, clear deep waters are formed by the Roanoke and Blackwater Rivers and she is 40 miles long and covers over 20,000 acres.

Smith Mountain Lake is by far the #1 producer of Trophy Striped Bass in Virginia and regarded by many as the top on the East Coast. The lake record and previous state record is 49lbs. 4oz. The state record of 53lbs. 1oz was caught last year in Leesville Lake, our sister lake. We are hoping to regain the record this year.

Smith Mountain lake is also home to a variety of other fish, Large Mouth Bass, Small Mouth Bass, White Bass, Walleye, Muskie, Catfish, Bluegill, Yellow Perch and Crappie to name a few.

There are numerous other activities as well: swimming, boat rentals, para-sailing, golfing, shopping, miniature golf, lake cruises, dinner cruises, camping, water front or country side dining and a beautiful state park
