Hi! I'm Captain Walt. I'm a US Coast Guard licensed captain (#878170) and your host aboard the Adventurer - a 41' Sea Ray 415 Aftcabin motoryacht. I'd like to invite you and your friends to join me for a private luxury cruise aboard my yacht. I can accommodate 1-6 people for a cruise of just 2 hrs up to many days. My yacht is fully equipped with 2 private staterooms (each with a toilet and shower), a full galley, a bar and an entertainment center. From romantic dinner cruises to overnight excursions, you will find the Adventurer spacious, safe, and comfortable. Savannah is a great location for inland cruising, with lots of intersecting rivers, barrier islands, estuaries, and easy access to the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW) . Daufuskie and Hilton Head Islands are not far away. Neither is Tybee Island, Wausaw Island, and the river front in Savannah, Georgia. Bring your guests and let's show them a fun time that they will talk about for months to come.
In addition to the Adventurer, I also captain the Island Explorer - a 49 passenger touring vessel, uniquely designed with 3 pontoons, for stability and safety on the water. It is the perfect vessel for larger groups desiring educational tours of the low country. Hundreds of church, school, scouting, and special interest groups have enjoyed watching the flight of marsh birds and the antics of playful dolphins from the advantage of this stable craft. I am fortunate to team with the owner, Michael Neal, and to share his extensive knowledge of the ecosystem and history of this unique area.
Aboard the Adventurer, I can take you and your guest(s) to find a secluded anchorage for a romantic sunset dinner or take your family for a swim at the remote beaches near Wassau Sound. You and your friends might like to watch for the many pods of dolphin snorkeling along the estuaries, or try to identify the many species of coastal birds as you cruise past the golden tidal marshes of Bull River. Maybe you would prefer to meander the ICW (Intracoastal Waterway) past the Bonaventure Cemetery (made famous from "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil") and float past the picturesque town of Thunderbolt.
Maybe your ideal cruise would be a ride up the ICW to isolated Daufuskie (site of Pay Conroy's The River Runs Wide) or beautiful Hilton Head Island, SC and browse the shops of South Beach. Perhaps you would like to spend one or more days on-board, traveling to various ports or anchoring in picturesque creeks. Overnight charters are available to Wassaw Island, Blackbeard Island, and even St. Augustine or Charleston. Want a cool place to spend the night while visiting Savannah and Tybee Island? Why not a B&B (Boat and Breakfast) on the water? Rates as low as $150 per night per boat (not per person). She will sleep 1-6 persons (4 optimum). Afraid of the water?... Don't be! We stay right on the dock. Or, for the more adventurous (and for just a little more $), we can find a nearby secluded anchorage where we can spend the night on the hook.
