The Reaburn family have operated and owned Carsons Camp for 36 years and their committment to providing quiet family oriented camping continues to be the top priority.
Our resort has 700 fully developed and serviced sites. Each site has sewer, carefully monitored water, and 30 amp electrical services included in the nightly site fees.
Quiet hours from 11 pm to 8 am are strictly enforced. All campfires must be extinguished by midnight. No exceptions
We offer 160 campsites for family holidays and accept reservations for 7 nights or longer beginning and ending on any day of the week. Shorter stays are only booked when they fill gaps among the week long reservations. Every site has a picnic table and campfire ring.
2004 upgrades included the addition of 16 pull through sites with 50 amp and 30 amp electricity, water and sewer. Our pull throughs are paved, have cement decks and are 65' on the inside angle. Select "Rates Chart " for detailed fees. In order to accomodate the new pull thoughs the tenting section has been moved west by one block. It is now located between Maple Drive South and Carolina Drive South. Select the Map to see the Yellow Tenting Area.
We are pleased to offer families an indoor swimimng pool. The whirlpool, sauna and fitness centre are for the use of adults only, 3 playgrounds, 2 volleyball courts, 2 basketball courts a full time recreation director - organizing childrens and family activities. We are located beside the 7 mile stretch of natural sand beach on the clean, blue, shallow waters of Lake Huron with excellent swimming and spectacular sunsets. Carson's Lake, located on the easterly boundary, is a small pretty body of water surrounded by trees with opportunities for fishing, canoeing and wildlife viewing. The campground is close to the beach and downtown so that you may walk or bicycle.
