Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 STICK BUTTER
  • 3 ONIONS
  • CHOPPED
  • 4 CELERY STALKS
  • CHOPPED
  • 5 LBS. POTATOS
  • CHOPPED
  • 1/2 T. PEPPER
  • 3-10OZ. CANS BABY CLAMS
  • 4 OZ. HEAVY CREAM
  • 1 PINT LIGHT CREAM
  • 1 T. PARSLEY
  • 1 CUP INSTANT POTATO FLAKES
Directions
MELT BUTTER; ADD PARSLEY, SALT, ONION, AND CELERY. SWEAT UNTIL TRANSLUCENT. ADD CLAMS W/ JUICE AND BRING TO BOIL. ADD POTATO CHUNKS;BOIL UNTIL SOFT. LOWER HEAT TO MEDIUM LOW AND ADD ALL THE CREAM W/ 1/2 CUP INSTANT POTATO FLAKES TO THCKEN. SIMMER ON LOW 20 MINUTES. ADD SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE. IF TOO THICK ADD LITTLE MILK. IF NEEDS THICKENING ADD POTATO FLAKES.
