Fishing InformationFishing Lake Candlewood in Danbury Ct. with my best friend Jim. Late December 2007, fishing deep rocky ledge coming of a flat in 25-30'of off colored water. Using a hopkins jigging spoon (3/4 once silver) I hook and landed a 5/1/2 lb. Small mouth bass. (nice....memory....) Same lake fishing a deep weed edge just off a island point in 15' of water. Fishing a Berkley 4" Powercraw pumkin colored. Just about sunrise we were loading up all night catching nice 3-4lb. largemouths and small jaw's. The Cast made, that well familiar thump on the other end of my line and the "WAR WAS ON". This monster tore through the weeds, stopped my heart by jumping clear out of the water twice and made my 15lb test line scream. In the end I was able to subdue this beauty, host her up, snap a few photos and release her unharmed. It was a 8 1/2 lb. LARGEMOUTH. One hell of a memory that I will relive over and over again. "GOD BLESS FISHING" and "GOD BLESS THE USA" for giving all of us the god given right to hunt and fish...Can I get a "AMEN" from all my fishing brothers out there...
