Fishing InformationMy fishing story is one that will always be on my mind when ever I fish. I am 51 years old and this happened when I was about 13. I was fishing with my Dad in a boat on a lake in Wisconsin. My Dad always had the finest fishing gear money could buy. We were having a great time until he asked me to hand him his needle nose pliers to remove a hook from a small panfish he had just caught. I reached in to the tackle box and grabbed the needle nose and the minute I looked at the pliers after it was in my hand I saw a terrible looking spider on the handle. Well my instinct got the better of me so I proceeded to throw the needle nose pliers in the lake. Now of course all my Dad saw was his son throwing his very nice needle nose pliers in to the lake. He asked me if I was nuts. Well the rest of the trip that day wasn't all that much fun. But at least now I can laugh about it. Personal BackgroundMy Fishing Favorites
