Fishing Information

I'm the world's worst crappie fisherman. Yep, I admit it. Love to catch and eat'm...but, sigh...well I'm just getting into fishing, is that an excuse?

I fished only a few times as a kid. My father-in-law took me fishing a half dozen times and I watched him. Caught some and loved it.

My fishing pard, when I'm not with my wife, is Lee. He's a country boy and as inept as I am. I'll tell you this though, nobody, and I mean NOBODY enjoys going out and drowning minnows as much as we do. We just don't get out as much as we want.

Personal Background

Robin and I have been married for 30 years. This past year she helped me get through cancer (throat)and she's a GREAT fishing partner. We have two sons, 21 and 24. We live in Central Texas between Belton Lake and Stillhouse Hollow Lake.

I'm a retired police officer. Currently I have a real estate business and love it. I'm beginning to have more time and plan to become a real "fisherman".

Boat Information

1994, Alumnacraft Crappie Pro, 16', carpeted. Good old fishing rig. I just got a new 50hp Johnson and added an oil system to it. We have a trolling motor and Hummingbird but I'm going to upgrade both next year. I'm about to try and replace the fuse panel and wiring...if you know anything about this LET ME KNOW!!
