Fishing Information

I have fished for so long I don't know what to tell. I have several citation fish for NC.Citations given for above avg. size, each species has it's own specs. I have a 40lb dolphin(mahi), a 47lb flathead(catfish), 3 8.5lb largemouths,(can't get into double figures)numerous 25lb kings(mackerel)(can't break 30lbs)a 2.75lb whitebass(large for here) and a few others. I am a lifetime member of the NRA and NAFC. I have a lifetime hunting and fishing licsense for NC.I have been fishing and hunting for about 40 yrs. I have seen animals and ideas come and go and comeback.

Personal Background

I am a 50 yr old southern gentleman, divorced, father of 2, totally disabled, who loves to fish and hunt.My disability is from a broken back(2 surgeries), but I am still able to get around some. I fish in fresh and saltwater with regular and fly equipment. I tie some of my own flies with a few creations(some have, most have not as yet caught fish). I fish for every species except specialty or large saltwater(peacock, salmon, lake trout, marlin, bone, permit, rooster). I thought I hooked a permit once but was told they don't frequent the Carolina coast. I hunt most all game found in North Carolina. I don't do alot of bear or boar hunting. I've never been for elk, moose, ram, or goat hunting but wish I could.I'm pretty sure I'm not physically able to hunt ram or goat.

Boat Information

Boat name: 2003 Seapro 85 Starcraft
I have a 21' bay boat by Seapro with a 100hp four stroke Yamaha. It works well for both fresh and saltwater outings. I have a 14' alum. mod. v jon with a 18hp merc. I use it for small impoundments or rivers.
