I am 14 years old and living in colorado. I have been flyfishing seriously for 2 years now and my succes increases by the weekend. I love flyfishing for all types of trout, especially brrok trout due to their unbeleievable coloration. I fish everything from the massive rivers to the tiniest of brook trout streams and beaver ponds. I love the outdoors, with pack in fishing being among my favorite way to fish due to the remoteness it allows and the untouched surroundings that it awards you with. I also go back to illinois every year to visit friends and i really enjoy the difficulty of hooking and landing catfish on an 8 weight. Bass on slidersare also a blast when the sun goes down and the fish look up. I have started to become a fly tier, but have only done a nymphs and streamers. I hope by this time of year next year i will be a full fledged fly tier. Fly tying has also sparked my interest in rob building. I want to over the course of this winte build with my father a custom fly rod. Just think what it would be like to catch a huge ranbow on a rod you made and a fly you tied.
