Fishing Information

I've been fishing in Alaska for twenty years , most of this has been done in the interior. Recently I have moved to the Kenia peninsula. The fishing is Great in Homer , but it sure helps if you own a boat (I don't). I have been experimenting with various ways to catch fish from the shore. The problem is that the salmon and halibut are a ways out , much further than you can cast. So I built the " Pneumatic Herring Hurler 4100 ". The idea here is to load the air cannon first with a potato then with the herring weight ect. I then pump air into the cannon up to 100psi. I then aim the cannon and the pole to a 45 degree angel and fire away. I am still working out the kinks but I can launch bait and lures around 50 to 75 yards. My goal is 150 yards. Keep checking , I'll be updating this often .Thanks. Bigwoods
