Fishing Information

The first time I went bass fishing was merely 4 years ago. The first time I went, my fishing buddy Brandon just handed me a pole and said "here" (of course I wouldn't let on I didn't have a clue what I was doing) the big problem was that the line wasn't strung through the pole, well I must of tried to string it 4 or 5 times before I realized I had to go under the bail of the reel!! Brandon didn't let on to anything but he was thinking what did I get myself into. Well, I've been learning every since and am about to start my 3rd year of tournament fishing and fist year as a boat owner. I've come along way, but glad I decided to tough it out and learn from my mistakes..as red faced as they were!!

Personal Background

I am 28 years old, married to a wonderful woman named Amber, and have a 9 year old step daughter named Morgan. Morgan is something straight out of a dream for a fisherman who has no kids of his own. She absolutely loves to fish, sometimes I think a bit more than I do! We have only been married for a little over 4 months and believe me having something in common with a child right off the bat has been a huge help. We have a schnauzer named Emrick who gets all the VIP treatment in the house...yep just one big happy family!! I've just recently started a new job, I am an Estimator / Project Manager for a structural steel company. The whole company is made up of hunting and fishing enthusiasts so I fit right in. I belong to a bass club called Team Bass out of Davison, Michigan where I hold an officer position as Public Relations Director.
