Fishing Information

I'm not only new to this site, I'm new to a computer. One thing I do have in common is, I love to catch bass and the bigger the better. My largest bass so far is a 8lb 5oz beauty caught at Briery Creek Lake in VA, May 2001. My wife seldom fishes with me, so it was extra special to me that both her and my son was there that day. The fish was caught with a Gary Yamamoto smoke-colored 4" grub. As soon as I discover how to send pictures over the internet, I will. Happy Hawg hunting everyone!

Personal Background

I'm 42 years of age, married to a wonderful gal for 22 years who actually supports my love of fishing, can you believe that? I've one son and one grandson who just had his 1st birthday. You know I have great fishing plans for that little guy. I work 12 hr shifts in the extrusion business which allows me quite a bit of fishing time due to scheduling. I've fished my entire life but only for bass in the last 20 years or so. It's a love I've inherited from my mom who liked nothing more than being on a Louisiana lake bank with a cane pole and a can of worms.
