Our home is full log, constructed in 1995.
It offers a wood burning fireplace (we supply the wood), two baths, a modern kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, satellite TV and VCR.
The log home boasts a wrap around screen porch for your enjoyment. The loft has one king and two twin beds. The great room has a rundle bed and a queen size sofa sleeper. The walkout basement has a combination bedroom/sitting area with one queen size bed and queen size sofa sleeper. This is an ideal arrangement for two family vacations. All bedding is furnished, however you must bring your own hand, bath and dish towels.
A 14-foot fishing boat is included with your rental. Motor rental information will be supplied upon request. Private dock space provided for three boats of any size.
Each season brings beauty and different activities to our community. In spring we watch as the ice leaves the lake and fisherman return for opening season. Moose Lake is a Class "A" Musky lake and is also home to small mouth bass, crappie, walleye and panfish. Gas and bait are available on the lake.
Summer brings families to the lake. Hayward is blessed with quaint stores and we never lack for great eating establishments. You may also enjoy golf, horseback riding, hiking and biking.
Fall again is a great time for fishing and enjoying nature's paintbrush in this beautiful forest. Hunting enthusiasts have 800,000 acres to hunt in.
Winter guests enjoy snowmobiling (access to more than 600 miles of groomed trails right from your front door), cross country and downhill skiing, ice fishing or curl up in front of the fire with a good book.
