If you prefer to set your own pace on the water, the local canoe trails are numerous and easily accessible. Hiking trails vary from easy walks around wooded lakes to more challenging treks with breathtaking mountain and glacial views. Horseback riding into Alaskan backcountry is becoming popular with many outfitters ready to help you on you way.
The Kenai Peninsula's two fishing ports, Homer and Seward, boast a variety of marine wildlife and unforgettable sightseeing. All of these wonderful activities are under a two hours drive from Alaska Mountainview Cabins.

During the winter we make one cabin available for the truly adventurous arctic travelers.
