Nestled in a beautiful mountain panorama just off of Highway 9, and located on the shores of scenic Trail Lake in the Chugach National Forest, the Trail Lake Lodge is centrally located for enjoyment of the Kenai Peninsula's many activities.
A half-hour south is the harbor town of Seward where you'll find whale-watching, wildlife, and glacier viewing day-cruises into Kenai Fjords National Park, as well as ocean charters for salmon and halibut. A half-hour west is Cooper Landing, headwaters of the world-famous Kenai River with fishing charters and rafting adventures available. In between lie dozens of trailheads with Alaska's best hiking and mountain biking locations.
A rental car is advantageous to access several of the nearby activities, however morning and evening shuttle service to & from Seward is offered from the lodge for a nominal $10 one-way, $15 round-trip fare. Transportation to & from Anchorage, Denali or Cooper Landing can also be arranged by our staff.
The Trail Lake Lodge is both your location and value leader on Alaska's Kenai Peninsula. Twenty-two of our comfortable rooms have private baths. Thirteen rooms have shared baths and are offered at our economy lodging rate.
All rooms include televisions and the main lodge rooms include telephones with local phone service at no additional charge.
