Heart's Ease Bed and Breakfast is named in part from the homestyle peace and pleasure atmosphere in and around the house and also from the kitchen where natural and organic food is "cooked with compassion and served in abundance."
Heart's Ease appeals to those who wish to maintain or experience an additive-free health-conscious meal or to those who merely wish to jump start their day and indulge freely in the fabulous meals in the numerous local restaurants. guests may choose to serve themselves buffet-style or select from a menu served at their choice of oak or walnut round tables, or outside.
Besides nutritionally prepared food, Heart's Ease also offers fiendly service, privacy and convenience. Located two blocks off Hwy. 54 between Lake Ozark and Osage Beach there is quick access to all area attractions.
A large patio fronts the house secluded by nearly three acres of tall oaks and woods. A 4-tier fountain lures birds, butterflies and multitudes of fiesty squirrels that guests may enjoy toether with wildflowers, flower beds and herbs. Deer and bluebirds appear occasionally. For even more privacy, guests may relax in back on the deck off the parlor. The library shelves offer books about gardening, health and food, plus antiques and other interests.
There's a daily guest-ready selection of teas, coffees and fresh homemade munchies. Refrigerator space is available for guests own specials. Picnic baskets for lunch or supper may be ordered.
Antique oak and cherry mantles on the double fireplace are between the TV room and more formal parlor. All rooms contain antique furnishings.
